Met predicts rain and thunderstorm with few hailstorm in parts of the country.

As per Met forecast, rain wind/thunderstorm remains expected in Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

It predicted similar weather for northeast Balochistan and Sindh during the next twelve hours.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday morning:

Islamabad and Peshawar twenty-four degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-five, Karachi thirty, Quetta and Gilgit twenty-one, Murree fifteen and Muzaffarabad eighteen degree centigrade.

Meanwhile, the increased water flow from Shishper Glacier has affected the Karakorum Highway caused flood in Hunza.

It damaged under construction two megawatt hydel power project and destroyed water supply system to Aliabad.

According to inter services public relations, the higher authorities directed the FWO to start work for rehabilitation of KKH in the affected area.

The flow of water has increased from 1400 to 2500 Cusics.

Reports had it that traffic is plying via Murtazabad and Nagar alternate route to Hunza.

Meanwhile, Chairman National Disaster Management Authority, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Afzal has said that a committee will be constituted with the coordination of the provinces to check the facilities being provided to the Coronavirus patients in public sector hospitals.

He said this, while talking to a private news channel.

Furthermore, he said the NDMA had already taken effective measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.

The Chairman NDMA asked the people to follow the Standard Operating Procedures.

He urged them to maintain social distancing, avoid hand shake, stay at homes, wear masks and gloves.

The NDMA head said it would help them in preventing themselves from the Coronavirus.
