CM Buzdar announces South Punjab Secretariat functionality very soon.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said this, while talking to various delegations at Bahawalpur.

He said that the South Punjab Secretariat will be functional very soon to solve the problems of people belonging to the region at their door steps.

He said the government would appoint an additional chief secretary and an additional inspector general at Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan.

The CM Punjab assured issuance of notification in this regard, shortly.

He recognized the establishment of separate secretarial for South Punjab a right of the region’s people.

He said the government has fulfilled its promise made during its election campaign.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken strict notice of a news item regarding unnecessary increase in roti and naan prices

He  said that he would not tolerate the unnecessary increase in roti and naan prices at any cost.

Moreover, he directed the Provincial Price Control Committee should take immediate steps to stabilize the price.

Meanwhile, the CM Punjab warned he would not allow anyone to increase the prices of essential items.

Earlier, federal minister Omar Ayub had warned of action against profiteers over artificial shortage of petrol and diesel.
