President calls for enhanced coordination to effectively respond to Covid19 pandemic.
He expressed these views during a presentation which Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) chairman Abrar-ul-Haq gave in Islamabad.

President Dr. Arif Alvi called for enhanced cooperation among PRCS, Ministry of National Health Services and National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
He urged them to effectively respond to COVID-19 pandemic.
The President asked Pakistan Red Crescent Society to further increase its outreach and provide medical help to the people affected by coronavirus.
Earlier, 2691 new cases surfaced during the last twenty-four hours taking the tally to 234,509
However, COVID-19 recoveries in Pakistan has reached 134, 957 that shows success of Pakistan;s efforts.
These include 82,669 in Punjab, 96,236 in Sindh, 28236 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10841in Balochistan, 13557 in Islamabad, 1587 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1383 in Azad Kashmir.
The death toll from the virus has reached 4839 with seventy-seven more deaths reported over the last twenty-four hours. 24,577 corona tests were carried out during this period.
Earlier, Pakistan government launched Corona Relief Tiger Force mobile app .
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar launched the app.
He said that they launched ‘Corona Relief Tiger Force mobile app’ which reflects the vision of the Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said that this mobile application would bring a digital revolution in the country.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases across the world has surpassed over 11.7 million.
Corona pandemic has so far claimed more than 540,000 lives.
