Pakistan summons senior Indian diplomat and lodge strong protest today over the ceasefire violation which the Indian occupation forces committed along the Line of Control yesterday.

 

In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said one innocent civilian, resident of Village Tejian in Dhudhnial Sector sustained serious injuries due to the indiscriminate and unprovoked firing from Indian occupation forces.

The Spokesperson said the Indian occupation forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary have been continuously targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars and automatic weapons.

He said this year, India has committed more than 1980 ceasefire violations to date, martyring 16 innocent civilians and serious injuries to 161 others.

The FO condemned Indian occupation forces for the deplorable targeting of innocent civilians.

He slammed such senseless acts as clear violation of the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding.

Furthermore, he noted them also against all established humanitarian norms and professional military conduct.

Hence, Pakistan government summoned senior Indian diplomat.

The FO lodged strong protest today over the ceasefire violation which the Indian occupation forces committed along the Line of Control yesterday.
