Dr Waqar Masood appointed Special Assistant to PM on Revenue.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday appointed eminent economist and former finance secretary Dr Waqar Masood as his Special Assistant on Revenue.

According to the PM Office, SAPM Dr Waqar Masood would have the status of Minister of State.

Waqar Masood did Ph.D in Economics and Masters in Political Economy from Boston University Massachusetts, USA.

He did Masters in Economics and LLB from Karachi University.

Dr. Waqar Masood Khan has a wide-ranging experience of working with both public and private sectors.

He has appeared on electronic media as an expert on economic issues.

Besides, he has also contributed his views on economic issues for print media.
