Pakistan confirms 624 new cases of coronavirus surfaced

Pakistan confirms 624 new cases of coronavirus surfaced during the last twenty-four hours.
According to the latest statistics, the contagious disease claimed lives of twelve more people.

However, the figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 301,288.
Now, Pakistan has 8528 active cases across the country.
On the other hand, National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Coronavirus’s official spoke regarding Islamabad.
According to an official of NCOC, as many as 23 cases reported last day. He said that so far, total 16,845 cases reported from the federal capital.
He said that 184 deaths reported from Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) while 16,113 patients recovered completely.
Commenting on the situation, an official of Ministry of National health Services said that several local level administrative decisions were made to control the disease.
He advised the citizens to continue following the social distancing, use of mask and other precautionary measures to stop increasing local transmission of COVID-19 in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, officials concerned alerted the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Monday that non compliance of SOPs may engender rise in Coronavirus spread.Â
Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar chaired the NCOC daily situational brief held in Islamabad.
Authorities concerned said non compliance of mask wearing and social distancing may give rise to disease spread.
Asad Umar said that monitoring of disease prevalence and containment measures were important.
He underlined wearing of Face Masks as the key to control disease spread.
