He said he resigned from the post of chief selector of Pakistan cricket team.

He gave unspecified personal reasons behind the decision to relinquish the post of chief selector.

Misbah-ul-Haq called it very difficult for him to work on dual responsibilities as team’s head coach and chief selector.

However, he would would continue to work as head coach.
