Govt allows opposition parties alliance PDM to hold public meeting.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz made this announcement today (Thursday).

He said the Punjab government had allowed Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to hold its public meeting in Jinnah stadium in Gujranwala.
In a video message, he noted protest as the democratic right of a political party.
However, he said the government had not allowed opposition to hold a meeting on the road.
Because, it would cause problems for people.
Moreover, he also challenged the opposition to fill the Jinnah stadium as per claim the latter made.
Shibli Faraz called the opposition parties leadership as family limited company.
He said they got together to save its corruption and looted wealth.
His party was democratic and had also held public meetings in the past and the opposition could also do so while following the standard operating procedures.
Meanwhile, NAB issued statement of its Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal.
It said he listened to public complaints of corruption, money laundering and abuse of power and directed to take action against them.
He said NAB was making efforts to bring the corrupt elements to a logical conclusion in accordance with the law.
He suggested the accused should devote their energies to defending the references filed in the courts, instead of Instead of criticizing the NAB.
