Pakistan strongly condemns act of terror at Kabul University

Foreign Office said we extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.

It said our thoughts and prayers are also with the Afghan people in this hour of grief and sorrow.

The Foreign Office said that Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and will continue to support a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.

Earlier, at least 22 people mostly students embraced martyrdom in terror attack at Kabul University Monday.

Moreover, 22 other wounded in the attack.

Gunmen stormed the University in a brutal, hours-long assault that saw students left in pools of blood in their classrooms.

Survivors described horrific scenes following the incident that unfolded around 11am (0530 GMT) when a suicide bomber blew himself up inside the campus.

Two gunmen then started shooting, officials said, sending hundreds of students fleeing and scrambling over perimeter walls.
