Coronavirus claims 42 lives in Pakistan during last 24 hours, according to the latest official statistics.
2843 tested positive for COVID-19 during the last twenty-four hours after the tests of 42, 752 people.

The figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 328,931.
Now, the total active cases across Pakistan stood at 34,974.
As many as 42 deaths in 24 hours alarmed the government.
On the other hand, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz slammed the opposition parties gatherings.
He criticised their stubbornness to hold public gatherings despite rising Coronavirus cases manifests its non-democratic and irresponsible conduct.
In a tweet on Saturday, he said the opposition is bent upon demonstrating irresponsibility.
Shibli said there is no legal and moral justification to hold public meetings after the court and government orders against it.
He noted putting people’s life in danger for vested interests as the extreme level of selfishness.
Govt plans FIRs against Opposition
He further said FIR will be registered against opposition leaders and organizers of the Peshawar public meeting if Coronavirus cases rise in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Prior to him, Prime Minister Imran Khan also lamented the Opposition parties’ defiance of court orders.

In a tweet today, the PM also cited opposition parties are holding a Jalsa in Peshawar when Coronavirus cases are rising dramatically.
He recalled these parties wanted a strict lockdown but now are playing reckless politics with people’s safety.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister Asad Umar also tweeted update on Coronavirus in Peshawar.
