Reportedly, the ED shared information regarding the national policy during briefing in Islamabad today (Tuesday)..
The Centre has taken all the provinces on board to devise a unified strategy to hold Antigen Testing as per the international standards.
Initially, all the government-authorized public sector laboratories could perform the antigen tests for the specified categories.
Meanwhile, the provincial representatives informed the meeting that they are making all necessary arrangements to hold Antigen testing in all major hospitals.
On the other hand, the second wave of Coronavirus intensified in Pakistan.
As many as 67 more people died due to Coronavirus during the last 24 hours.
Moreover, 2,458 new cases of infection also reported.
The death toll in the country has soared to 8,091.
However, 343,286 patients stand recovered from the pandemic.
There are now 400, 482 confirmed cases in the country out of which 2,165 are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Shibli Faraz has regretted that the opposition parties are openly breaching COVID-19 related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
In a tweet on Tuesday, he said the corrupt opposition is acting irresponsibly.
He said making fun of the pandemic at the public gatherings is what if not stupidity?
Furthermore, Shibli said the world is heading towards complete lockdown and curfew to check the spread of the virus.
