In a tweet today, Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday welcomed the US President-elect Joseph Biden’s declared intent.

The PM posted a tweet, while sharing sharing a media report.

He also referred to expectation that Joe Biden to make a crackdown on illicit finance both at home in the United States and abroad a centerpiece of his administration.”

As per a report published in US-based Foreign Policy magazine, Biden, as vice president, had also spearheaded Obama administration’s fight against corruption.

He also fought against kleptocracy which he also echoed in his article published in another publication this spring.

In Pakistan, Imran Khan-led PTI government is accusing the past governments for corruption.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister said that the opposition bent upon damaging interests of the country.
