Pakistan summons senior Indian diplomat to protest violations along LOC – Line of Control.

The Foreign Office today registered Pakistan’s strong protest over ceasefire violations.

Indian occupation Forces violated ceasefire along the Line of Control yesterday.

That resulted in serious injuries to two innocent civilians.

Meanwhile, the FO called upon India to respect the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding.

Further, it asked India to investigate this and other such incidents of deliberate ceasefire violations.

The FOI also urged India to maintain peace along the LoC and the WB.

Furthermore, Pakistan asked the Indian side to allow the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan to play its mandated role as per the United Nations Security Council Resolutions.

2970 ceasefire violations to date in 2020

Meanwhile, in a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez said the Indian occupation forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary have been continuously targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars and automatic weapons.

He said this year, India has committed 2970 ceasefire violations to date.

That resulted in 27 shahadats (martyrdom) and serious injuries to 249 innocent civilians.

On the other hand, over 250 Kashmiris killed due to Indian state terrorism in IOJK in 2020 so far.

Indian occupational forces have killed them in IOJK – Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
