Moreover, the PM expressed satisfaction over reforms in energy sector.
He emphasized to design the reforms, while keeping in view the future needs.
The Prime Minister called for long-lasting reforms.
Meanwhile, the meeting discussed improvement in production and transmission of electricity.
They also discussed making energy mix better and environment friendly.
Besides, they reviewed proposed projects of generating cheap electricity.
Officials concerned informed the meeting on the progress regarding ongoing projects.
They apprised the Prime Minister about the agreements made by the previous governments.
Moreover, they elaborated their negative effects on economy and ordinary people.
Meanwhile, the authorities concerned also briefed the PM about the steps taken for relief of the common man and the industry despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman and Saifullah Niazi called on Prime Minister.
They discussed overall political situation of the country. In addition, they exchanged views on the future course of action during the meeting.
Besides, KP Governor briefed Imran Khan in Islamabad on development in tribal districts.
He also briefed the Prime Minister on the opportunities being provided to the youth of the region to play an effective role in progress and development of the country.
