Entrepreneurs Organization delegation meets President Dr Arif Alvi in Islamabad today (Wednesday).
While talking to them, President Alvi noted that business environment has improved in Pakistan.

However, he said that improvement has come due to the government’s reforms and policies.
Furthermore, he said the government is taking steps to provide equal opportunities for promotion of the business sector.
The President also noted improved position of Pakistan in the world rankings in ease of doing business by 28 points.
He said the government announced economic package for relief of the business community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moreover, he urged the Entrepreneurs’ Organization should play its role in enhancing Pakistan’s exports.
He also asked them to play role for enhanced access of Pakistani exports to the world markets.
Meanwhile, President Alvi shared that the government’s strategy keeping in view the global tendencies to deal with the changing situation in world markets and to secure economic benefits.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting on energy sector in Islamabad today.
He called for giving relief to domestic electricity consumers top most priority of incumbent government.
He also directed the authorities concerned to ensure uninterrupted and affordable power supply to industries.
The PM underlined these two among the top most priority of the PTI government.
Moreover, the PM expressed satisfaction over reforms in energy sector.
He emphasized to design the reforms, while keeping in view the future needs.
The Prime Minister called for long-lasting reforms.
