FO summons senior Indian diplomat and lodge protest over ceasefire violations along LoC (Line of Control).
Foreign Office has summoned a senior Indian diplomat in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
Pakistan government registered strong protest over ceasefire violations which Indian occupation Forces committed along the Line of Control yesterday.

That resulted in serious injuries to a 10 year old boy.
In a statement, Foreign office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, said this.
He further said that Indian occupation forces conducted indiscriminate and unprovoked firing in Nezapir Sectors of the LoC.
Moreover, he said a 10 year old Muhammad Zaheer s/o Muhammad Rafique, residents of Mohri village, sustained serious injuries.
He said the Indian occupation forces along the LoC and the Working Boundary have been continuously targeting civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars and automatic weapons.
This year, India has committed 48 ceasefire violations.
That resulted in serious injuries to 3 innocent civilians.
Meanwhile, the FO also condemned the deplorable targeting of innocent civilians by the Indian occupation forces.
Furthermore, it underscored such senseless acts in clear violation of the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding.
Besides, those unlawful act also go against all established humanitarian norms and professional military conduct.
Egregious violations of international law
The Spokesperson said these egregious violations of international law reflect consistent Indian attempts to escalate the situation along the LoC.
He noted it a threat to regional peace and security.
It added that by raising tensions along the LoC and the WB, India cannot divert attention from the grave human rights situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan called upon the Indian side to respect the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding, investigate this and other such incidents of deliberate ceasefire violations and maintain peace along the LoC and the WB.
The Indian side was also urged to allow the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan to play its mandated role as per the United Nations Security Council Resolutions.
