Pakistan to launch first Green Bond to finance renewable energy transition.

Special Assistant on Climate Change Amin Aslam made this announcement, while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today (Monday).

He said that Pakistan would introduce its first Green Bond to finance renewable energy transition.

Furthermore, he said that the WAPDA would launch this five hundred million Euro bond shortly.

Amin Aslam said the present government is giving special emphasis to the protection of environment.

He also underlined one billion tree tsunami project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a complete success.

Now, he said that the federal government is executing ten billion tree Tsuanmi project.

Moreover, The PM’s Special Assistant said this project is also providing thousands of jobs to the youth.
