The Election Commission says it will start an investigation on merit of the footage.

The video purportedly of Ali Haider Gillani, went viral yesterday.

The video showed he was telling PTI members how to get their votes rejected.

Besides, he also told them how to write specific numbers for identification of the voters at a later stage.

Earlier, leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf demanded the ECP for initiating an investigation into the video clip.

They also asked the ECP to disqualify the contesting candidate of Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani on involvement of his son in such wrongdoing.
