72 more Pakistanis died due to Coronavirus during last 24 hours.

According to NCOC, lab tests confirmed 3270 new cases of Covid-19 across the country during the last twenty four hours.

Furthermore, it reported 585,271 patients have so far recovered from the disease.

Meanwhile, NCOC decided broader lockdowns for the containment of Coronavirus with stringent enforcement protocols based on risk assessment.

National Command and Operation Center made this decision during its meeting on Monday.

Minister for Planning Asad Umer presided the meeting.

The forum expressed grave concern over current COVID situation in the country.

Moreover, it unanimously agreed for closure of all type of indoor dining.

However, it permitted outdoor dining and Takeaways till 10:00 pm

The forum said they decided so to contain the disease spread in cities with positivity greater than eight percent.

Besides, it also decided the closure of all commercial activities that include less essential services by 8:00 pm.

he forum decided that two safe days per week will be observed and choice of days will be at the discretion of Federating Units.

Under other decisions of the forum, complete closure of Cinemas Shrines will continue to remain enforced, while 50 percent work from home policy will continue.
