The Islamabad High Court has rejected PPP Senator Yousuf Raza Gilani’s petition.

Gilani had earlier challenged the result of the Senate chairman election held on 12th of this month.

Meanwhile, Chief Justice IHC Athar Minallah announced his judgment on Wednesday.

He declared the petition inadmissible for hearing.

Although Gilani won senate membership election, he lost chairman vote.
