In a video statement, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi issued contradiction.

He further said that wrong news circulating since Wednesday in this regard.
The news claims withdrawal of powers of postings and transfers of officers from the South Punjab secretariat.
Moreover, Qureshi said Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar had issued orders for inquiry about the situation.
He said the government had resorted previous condition and issued a notification to remove the misunderstanding.
The minister further said the government of Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) stood by its pledge to transfer powers to the Parliamentarians and people of Punjab.
