Prime Minister  reviews law and order situation in the country during a meeting in Islamabad.

PM Imran Khan presided over the meeting on Wednesday.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid, Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Law Minister Farogh Naseem attended the meeting.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve for concluding legal process for Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline Project.

In this regard, he made this pledge during his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister.

He vowed for expeditiously concluding the requisite legal process for the Pakistan Stream (North-South) Gas Pipeline project.

He also pledged to commence the work as early as possible.

Russia Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called on him in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

He led a delegation of his country during the meeting.

PM underlines importance of Russia

Moreover, the PM reiterated the importance Pakistan attaches to its relations with Russia as a key foreign policy priority.

He expressed satisfaction at the steady growth in bilateral ties. He mentioned deepening cooperation in trade, energy, security and defence among them.

Enhanced bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, industrial modernization, railways and aviation also came under discussion.
