In this regard, eligible voters are casting votes at all the polling stations amid tight security.

As many as nine candidates are contesting. They include: Ali Asjad Malhi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Nosheen Iftikhar of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).

Moreover, Muhammad Khalid Sandhu (Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan) is also contesting.

Six contenders Muhammad Usman Khaild, Khawaja Asif Raza, Sumaira Islam, Syed Haider Jaffery, Syed Shah Faisal and Shamsa Saleem Bukhari contest as independents.

There are 4,94,003 registered voters. Thy include 2,73,006 male and 2,20,997 female voters.

Besides, the ECP has established 360 polling stations. They include 106 male polling stations, 106 female polling stations and 148 joint (male and female) polling stations.

Also, Election Commission of Pakistan set up 927 polling booths.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan slammed the PMLN.

She said that the PML-N never accepts defeat but only celebrates victories.

She stated this, while talking to media persons at Civil Club Daska here on Saturday evening.

Moreover, Awan said that the provincial government took all the possible steps as per the direction of ECP to hold fair and transparent election in NA-75.

She further said that the PML-N MPAs and MNAs were visiting the polling stations defying ban from the Election Commission.

Therefore, she urged the Elections Commission to take action in this regard.

She said that people of Daska will stand with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Meanwhile, Awan thanked to the PTI ally PML-Q over their support in the NA-75 Sialkot-IV Daska by-election.

Furthermore, she said that the traditional mindset and attitude of the PMLN bar it from accepting the fair and free election results.

However, he also claimed that the PTI was not competing with with the political party but with the drug dealers.
