Arrest of TLP chief Saad Razvi triggers protests across the country today.
Saad Hussain Rizvi, the chief of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan, has been detained in Lahore.

According to party spokesperson Pir Ejaz Ashrafi Rizvi, police took him into custody after Zuhr prayers on Monday from Jamia Masjid Rehmat ul Aalameen on Multan Road, Lahore.
However, a video clip that went viral showed police took him into custody, while TLP chief was travelling in a car on a main road.
But Pir Ejaz Ashrafi claimed that the police didn’t give any reason.
However, he apprehended that police might have detained him because the TLP chairperson had announced a protest on April 20.
But one may note that he had announced a protest for April 20.
The TLP referred to the November 2020 agreement with the PTI government had signed with the TLP.
