He said the government will table a resolution in the National Assembly (NA) today.

Government had to take this line after another round of talks with the proscribed Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).

He said in a video message on Tuesday.

On the other hand, NA session adjourned on April 19 (Monday) to meet again on April 22 (Thursday).

But the relevant authority had to reschedule the session due to TLP related issues.

Now the National Assembly would meet today on April 20 at 3pm.

Moreover, the minister said that TLP had agreed to end protests across the country.

However, talks with the TLP will continue.

But he said that they would withdraw the cases registered against TLP workers under the fourth schedule.

He further announced he would give a detailed briefing on the development through a press conference later today.

In a video message on twitter, the Minister said TLP has released eleven police personnel.

He further said that the TLP activists had abducted them.

He expressed hope that all issues will be resolved amicably during the next round of talks this morning.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed further hoped clearing that one also.

Furthermore, he said the activists of TLP have returned.

Sheikh Rashid said Punjab government successfully held talks to resolve the issues.
