Meanwhile, Ministry of National Health Services announced availability of the first batch of China’s single-dose CanSino COVID-19 vaccine for administration to the citizens by the end of this month after thorough rigorous quality control checks.

According to an official of the ministry, the first batch of bulk CanSino vaccine is being processed at the National Institute of Health’s plant.

Pakistan set up the plant for this purpose last month, and a specially trained team is working on it.

He further said due to the agreement on technology transfer, the National Institute of Health would produce 3 million doses per month.

That would significantly reduce the country’s dependence on other countries.

Meanwhile4, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah urged the people to get themselves vaccinated.

During a press conference at CM House, he said that the whole world is opening. Because they have vaccinated their people.

He further said that we have 234 vaccination centers all over Sindh.

Murad said our hospitals, particularly the Infection Disease Institute and Aga Khan have no beds for COVID patients.
