Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza has landed in Jordan on an official visit.

He has called on Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordanian Armed Forces Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity.

Both sides deliberated upon various areas of interest including security, defense cooperation and prevailing regional situation.

They dilated upon measures to enhance the level and scope of military engagements between the two countries.

Moreover, they also reaffirmed to continue to forge deeper ties.

Meanwhile, General Nadeem Raza expressed desire to expand military, defence cooperation with Jordan.

He evinced Pakistan’s keenness to expand its existing bilateral military to military cooperation with Jordan.

Jordanian side acknowledged the professionalism of Pakistan’s Armed forces and their sacrifices in the war on terrorism.

Moreover, Jordan awarded the CJCSC Gen Nadeem Raza with Jordan’s highest military award the ‘Order of Military Merit of the First Grade.’ ‘

Amman awarded him the highest award in recognition of his efforts to further promote bilateral relation.
