G20 suspended Pakistan debt repayment by the end of the year 2021.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain stated this, while addressing a press conference in Islamabad today.
G20 suspended Pakistan debt repayment
He said G20 has suspended Pakistan’s debt repayment of of 3.17 billion.
Furthermore, Fawad noted this yet another positive development for the country’s economy.
Meanwhile, G-20 nations announced a freeze on debt repayments from 76 countries, including Pakistan.
However, they had put the condition that each country would make a formal request.
