While speaking to a private TV channel programme, President Dr Arif Alvi expressed these views.

He said that India has always been playing a spoiler’s role in Afghanistan.
He further said India wants to create misunderstanding about Pakistan in that country.
However, he underlined peace and stability in Afghanistan vital for regional stability.
The President said Pakistan would especially immensely benefit from it.
He expressed hope that all Afghan parties would peacefully resolve their issues with consensus and through peaceful means.
He also expressed his dismay over the recent allegations levelled by certain Afghan leaders against Pakistan.
President said Islamabad has already reiterated its clear position over Afghan peace and reconciliation process.
Dr Arif Alvi said Pakistan has hosted about 3.5 million Afghan refugees on its soil.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also said that some elements in Afghanistan playing the role of spoilers also want instability in Pakistan.
He further said that Pakistan has rendered unprecedented sacrifices against terrorism and we have also set our direction.
In a statement, he said Pakistan desires peace and stability in Afghanistan and Islamabad is playing its conciliatory role in the Afghan peace process.
