Pakistan Army Chief lauds role of Qatar in Afghanistan Peace Process.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa is conducting a a two-day official visit to Qatar.
According to the ISPR on Wednesday, he appreciated the role of Qatar in ‘Afghan Peace Process’.

He called on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Doctor Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.
Moreover, he also called on Chief of Staff Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanim Bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim
During the meetings, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, defence and security cooperation and regional/ geo-political environment.
The COAS said both the countries shared great history of cordial relations and deep spirit of brotherhood.
He noted transformation n of Pakistan-Qatar relations into an enduring partnership.
Meanwhile, the Qatari dignitaries also appreciated Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region.
Furthermore, they pledged to keep working for better relations between the two brotherly countries.
Both sides underscored the importance of further enhancing the cooperation in all fields.
Pakistan and Qatar enjoy excellent relations. The latter has announced a plan top open jobs for Pakistani workers.
