National Assembly unanimously condemns attack on Hindu temple in Rahim Yar Khan.

On Friday, the NA unanimously passed a resolution.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan tabled the resolution.

It said that the House equally remains in pain and stood with the Hindu community on this incident.

The resolution said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has also strongly condemned the incident.

Furthermore, he issued directives of strict action against the element involved in it.

It referred taht the Constitution of Pakistan gave complete protection to the rights of minorities.

The House expressed strong resolve to ensure the protection of minorities’ rights and their religious places.

On this issue, government and the whole nation were on same page.

Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain released a video message about the mob attack on Ganesh temple.

He said the people who hurt the Hindu community’s religious sentiments should get exemplary punishment.

The Minister said we should rise against the elements who target people on the basis of colour and creed.

He further said the Prime Minister, the military leadership and the judiciary accept the constitution that guarantees minorities’ rights for a progressive Pakistan.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice have taken notice of the incident.

He said Pakistan is not India where fascist ideology rules.

The Minister said the sanctity of both the colours in our national flag is equally important for us.
