Court accepted Shahbaz Gill’s exemption plea in sedition case

ISLAMABAD: Sessions Court accepted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill’s exemption plea in sedition case.
Judicial Magistrate Shoaib Akhtar heard the sedition case against Shahbaz Gill on Wednesday.
During the hearing, the police submitted the challan, while Shahbaz Gill’s lawyer Ali Bukhari Advocate appealed to the court that all the documents of his client are in the possession of the police and they should be handed over.
On which the court reserved the decision on the appeal for custody of the belongings.
Furthermore, the Judicial Magistrate sent the case file to the Sessions Judge for the PTI leader’s trial and the case was adjourned till September 24.
