Prime Minister’s focal person Ahmed Jawad tendered his resignation from his post on Friday
Taking to Twitter handle, Jawad wrote an emotional note and said, He cannot remain part of any ‘cheating’ and added that commissions are set up in our country to put the issues on the back burner.

While referring to a commission formed to probe the killing of senior journalist Arshad Sharif he said, “Preparations have started for the funeral of another truth”
He appealed to the nation to stand with truth and urged them to differentiate between truth and lie.

In his resignation, Ahmed Jawad also urged the Prime Minister to announce the date of fresh elections and let the people decide.
