Six dead in car-truck collision near Muridke

A collision between a car and a truck left six people killed and three others injured on the GT road near Muridke here on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, the accident occurred due to overspeeding on GT Road Ravi Ryan U-turn in Muridke when the truck lost control and hit a car after taking a U-turn.
On receiving the information, the rescue team reached the spot. The killed and the injured were shifted to the hospital.
The rescue sources said that Shahbaz, Zaheer Abbas, Erum Shahzadi, Abdul Wahab, Ayan and Iman Fatima are among those who died in the accident.
The added that three women including Naseem, Khadija and Shamim were injured as a result of the accident. The victim family was going to Gujranwala from Multan.
