Lakki Marwat cops police repulse terrorist attack at police station

Cops took timely action to avoid major life loss, as they foiled a terrorist attack on a police station in Lakki Marwat late on Sunday night.

Police sources said that the militants equipped with the latest weapons attacked the police station of Dara Pizzo Parnal in Lakki Marwat.

The timely response from the cops forced the terrorists to flee from the scene.

Clearance operation is underway following the attack, said DPO Taimur Khan lauding the timely response of the police personnel.

It is worth mentioning here that parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have witnessed a surge in terror attacks in the recent past.
