5 terrorists killed, 2 officers martyred in IBO: ISPR

Security forces killed five terrorists and injured three ย during an intelligence-based operation in Peshawar.
According to Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations, the security forces conducted an operation on information about the presence of terrorists in Hasan Khel area of โโPeshawar. During the operation, five terrorists were killed and three were injured. In an exchange of fire, Captain Hussain Jahangir and Havaldar Shafiqullah were martyred. The security forces traced the hideout of the terrorists effectively,
ISPR said that the operation was led by Captain Hussain Jahangir, who belonged to Rahim Yar Khan, while 36-year-old Havildar Shafiqullah belonged to Kark.
It added that such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthens our resolve. The forces are committed to end the menace of terrorism, it concluded.
