Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to take important decisions to deal with the challenge of expensive electricity.
The premier has directed the authorities to take important decisions to deal with the challenge of 16,000 MW surplus and expensive electricity for the federal government.
He has sought a report from the Power Division on the implementation of four decisions by June 30, while a plan has been sought to end the subsidy for domestic consumers and give subsidy from BIS.
The Premier has ordered to prepare a special tariff to provide cheap electricity to industries from SEZ.
