Pakistan’s tallest man dies aged 30
Pakistan’s tallest man Zia Rasheed passed away after protracted illness in Vehari. He was just 30.
A large number of people and political personalities attended his funeral, Geo News reported.
Late Zia achieved the crown of tallest Pakistan man at the age of 15. However, he had long been suffering from a disease related to knees.
He first diagnosed with the disease when he was just 20.
Since then, he could not get himself treated properly and neither the government took care of him. With the time, his illness exacerbated.
During an interview back in December 2018, Zia had said that he was getting taekwondo training to ensure his body fitness and self defence.
The Vehari native had then claimed that his height was eight feet and three inches, which made him the second tallest man in the world.
He had said that he had received education till matric and added that he wanted to continue his study but facing financial and travelling problems.
