PTI’s Neeli Pari arrested for attacking actor Tahir Anjum

Lahore Police on Thursday arrested PTI activist Aneela Riaz Jutt, also known as Neeli Parri, for assaulting stage artist Tahir Anjum in front of the Punjab Assembly.
The arrest follows a police case registered against Aneela Riaz after comedian Tahir Anjum filed a complaint accusing her of physical assault.
The incident took place outside the Punjab Assembly, where PTI was holding a āsymbolic hunger strikeā against the incarceration of party founder Imran Khan.
The PTI worker stopped the vehicle of Tahir Anjum, a leader of the PML-N cultural wing, and began beating him.
In the footage, Neeli Parri can be seen slapping Tahir Anjum, who was eventually rescued by party workers.
Despite intervention from police and bystanders, Aneela continued her assault on Tahir Anjum, who eventually managed to escape.
Pari claimed that Anjum was making videos against PTI founder Imran Khan at the behest of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
