PTI leader killed in Lahore

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr. Shahid Siddique was tragically shot dead outside the mosque in Valencia Town, Lahore.
The incident occurred after the Friday prayers when an unidentified assailant shot him four times, police said.
The motive behind the attack is under investigation, with authorities launching a probe into various aspects, including the possibility of targeted killing, police added.
Moreover, Inspector General (IG) Punjab, Usman Anwar ordered to utilise all available resources towards resolving the case swiftly.
He has also sought out report from DIG Operations in the regard.
