‘Drunk hai, issey nikalo’: KP speaker lashes out at MPA

A video clip that went viral on social media platform X has sparked controversy in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly, featuring MPA Iqbal Wazir of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTI-P) delivering a slurred speech.
Speaker Babar Saleem Swabi promptly called out Wazir’s behavior, labeling him “drunk” and deeming his actions “not appropriate.”

The speaker summoned the sergeant-at-arms to escort Wazir out of the premises as a heated verbal exchange ensued between Wazir and fellow assembly members.
“He is not in his senses,” the speaker can be heard saying in the small clip.
The video clip has been widely shared on social media, drawing attention to the chaotic scene that happened during the assembly session.
