Good news for K-Electric consumers

K Electric has extended the bill payment date on the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
K-Electric has extended the bill payment due date for July and August by 10 days while the late payment surcharges already submitted by consumers will be adjusted next month.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had directed to extend the date of payment of electricity bills, after which electricity distribution companies across the country have extended the date of payment of bills.
The 10-day extension would be given to the consumers for payment of their bills for July and August, a Power Division statement said.
As electricity consumers are already overburdened by record-high electricity tariff, the extension will provide additional time for consumers to manage their payments.
