Independence Day: Sindh governor to distribute free mobile phones

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has announced special prizes to be distributed among citizens on the occasion of Independence Day.
Speaking to media representatives, Governor Tessori announced to distribute mobile phones and other prizes among the public on the occasion of Independence Day
Kamran Tessori also revealed that a comprehensive security plan has been devised to ensure a smooth and enjoyable celebration.
He also announced that a traffic plan will be uploaded on social media before the event to facilitate attendees.
The Governor’s House will host the largest fireworks display in Pakistan’s history, with a special team arriving from Dubai to oversee the spectacle.
Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem has been invited to join the celebrations, along with renowned singer Atif Aslam and other artists who will perform live.
Governor Tessori further announced that all gates of the Governor’s House will be open to the public, with an expected turnout of 500,000.
Adjacent Bagh-e-Jinnah will also be opened to the public, and screens will be installed from Fawara Chowk to Shaheen Complex to ensure everyone can enjoy the festivities.
