Two weekly holidays announced for school teachers

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, keeping in mind the difficulties of women teachers, changed the working hours and announced two holidays in a week for them.
The provincial education minister said, in a statement, that after the summer vacation, women teachers in government schools will have two holidays in a week and their duty hours will also be changed.
According to the minister of education, after the summer vacation, women teachers in government schools will have off at 2:30 instead of 3pm, while they will also have a holiday on Saturdays. This decision has been taken considering the difficulties faced by women teachers.
He said that the leave time of female teachers has been changed because they have to take care of the household and a notification in this regard will be issued soon.
