Sardar Akhtar Mengal claims his lodges ‘raided’ by Islamabad Police

Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal claimed that police had ‘raided’ at his lodges in Islamabad.
According to sources, BNP acting president Sajid Tareen was present in the lodges when the police arrived.
Sajid Tareen said that he has come here so that party senators do not come under any pressure during voting on constitutional amendments.
On the other hand, a spokesperson for Islamabad Police has said that Sardar Akhtar Mengal’s flat in Parliament Lodges was not raided, Sajid Tareen had complained that someone was following him, the police wanted to get more information from Sajid Tareen regarding his complaint.
The BNP chief has alleged that two BNP senators and their families are being harassed continuously, now they have only one option left to direct their senators to resign.
He further said that due to the same treatment with Balochistan, he had resigned from the membership of the National Assembly.
