Did Mufti Tariq Masood get injured in alleged gun attack?

Renowned Islamic Islamic scholar, Mufti Tariq Masood is reportedly involved in an alleged gun attack near the Ghaghar Phatak area of Karachi.
According to Daily Ausaf, the attack took place in Ghaghar Phatak area, where his driver has lost his life in the firing incident.
However, Jamiatur Rasheed Karachi spokesperson Mulana Mohammad Nadeem denied the incident, declaring it as fake news.
He said that Mufti sahib is absolutely healthy while no such incident has happened.
“Nowadays, there is a lot of propaganda through fake news. Yesterday false news of firing on Maulana Ilyas Qadri was circulating on social media, and today fake news of Mufti Sahib,” he added.
Posts circulating on social media claimed that mufti Tariq Masood was seriously injured in the incident.
