When mercury is going to drip in Karachi?
Mercury in Karachi is likely to drop from mid of November, said the Pakistan Metrological Department on Monday in its forecast.
Karachiites are currently experiencing high temperature throughout the day and with temperatures recorded between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius day/night.
It is also to be noted that a reduction in heat intensity is not expected until the end of October.
However, according to Met office, from November 6 or 7, the effects of this weather pressure will start to diminish.
By mid-November, daytime temperatures may settle between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, there is an expectation of cooler nights beginning in mid-November, bringing relief to residents from the ongoing heat.
Hopes for an immediate relief from the sweltering heat in the port city have faded, as the it has predicted three more days of heat.
