Key PTI leaders released after brief detention outside Adiala Jail

Police have released several PTI leaders after a brief detention today.
The released leaders include Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Asad Qaiser and others.
Earlier, the senior PTI leaders who went to Adiala Jail to meet PTI Chairman Imran Khan were arrested.
According to a local TV, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Omar Ayub and Leader of Opposition in the Senate Shibli Faraz reached Adiala Jail to meet PTI founder Imran Khan. Later, Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan Bachhar, Head of Sunni ittehad Council Sahibzada Hamid Raza, former speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser and PTI woman leader Alia Hamza also reached Adiala Jail’s Gate No. 5 from where they got the clearance.
However, Asad Qaiser, Shibli Faraz, Omar Ayub, Malik Ahmed Khan Bachhar, Sahibzada Hamid Raza were arrested from there and transferred to Adiala Chowki. Meanwhile, Alia Hamza managed to escape from the arrest.
Police said that all PTI leaders were arrested for violating Section 144.
Later, police released all the PTI leaders after a brief detention.
