Petrol prices remain unchanged for next fortnight

Expected petrol price in Pakistan from February 1
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government has maintained the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next fortnight, starting from November 16.
“The Oil [and] Gas Regulatory Authority has worked out the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight based on the price trends in the international market during the last two weeks,” stated a notification issued by Finance Division.
The prices of petrol and HSD will remain at Rs248.38 and Rs255.14 per litre, respectively.
It is worth mentioning here that, on October 31, the government increased the petrol price by Rs1.35 per litre to reach Rs248.38 per litre, while the price of HSD had increased by Rs3.85 per litre. It was being retailed at Rs255.14.
Meanwhile, the government had reduced the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel.
The price of kerosene oil had fixed at Rs161.54 per litre, after witnessing decrease of Rs1.48.
