Toshakhana-II case: IHC order Imran Khan’s release
PTI leaders caught over Imran’s confrontation policy
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered the release of PTI Chief Imran Khan after granting him bail in Toshakhana two case.
Justice Miangul Hasan Auraganzeb heard the bail plea on Wednesday. His bail was approved against two surety bonds worth Rs1 million each.
FIA prosecutor and the defence lawyer Salman Safdar presented detailed arguments at the beginning of the proceedings.
After hours long hearing, the court granted the bail plea, ordering the release of the former prime minister.
However, Imran Khan faces several other cases and may not be released immediately.
The order, nonetheless, comes a major victory and morale booster for PTI supporters who are preparing to launch a massive protest on November 24.
